CK-13-AB Medium Intensity Obstruction Lights (MIOL), white light day-mode - red light night-mode, multi-LED type. According to ICAO Annex 14 Type AB and Type AC and FAA DUAL L-864/L-865.

Medium Intensity Obstacle Lights Type AB should be used in combination with Low Intensity Obstacle Lights Type B for night mode, whereas Medium Intensity Obstacle Lights Type AC should be used in combination with Medium Intensity Obstacle Lights Type C for daily and night mode where the obstacle is particularly large and the height of the surrounding soil is more than 45m. These lights visually mark obstacles to approaching pilots and are essential to preventing collisions in poor visibility conditions or at night.

An overhead power line is a structure used in electric power transmission and distribution to transmit electrical energy along large distances. In contrast to overhead wire markers that rely on daylight, conductor marking lights are designed to be visible during nighttime. These lights enhance the visibility of transmission line catenary wires in the vicinity of airports, heliports, and locations spanning across rivers. It is built around induction and takes its power from the current of the line, by the intermediary of a multi-winding coil directly installed within the beacon.
