HELIPORT LIGHTS - HELIPORT BEACON(LED Heliport Beacon ICAO Identification Beacon White Flashing Morse Code "H" Heliport Acquisition Beacon)

APPLICATION

Designed to assist heliport acquisition by helicopter pilots flying in the vicinity, it is an omnidirectional heliport beacon that emits a distinctive, flashing white light transmitting the Morse code for “H.” This flashing pattern readily distinguishes this beacon from other lighting in the area. 

An heliport beacon should be provided at heliports intended for use at night and that cannot be easily identified from the air by other means.

The beacon, as per ICAO rule, emits a flash coded as letter “H” of Morse Code. 

CM-HT12/A Heliport beacon light is a white flashing light, as a distance visual guidance. It's so important especially when the ambient light makes it difficult to see there is a heliport. According to ICAO, every heliport should have at least one light beacon. It should be installed above or near the heliport, it will be better if it is installed in an elevated place. Please make sure it will not let the pilot feel glaring in short distance.
