Air Navigation and Obstruction Lighting - high intensity flashing white lights are being used to identify some supporting structures of overhead transmission lines located across rivers, chasms, gorges, etc. These lights flash in a middle, top, lower light sequence at approximately 40 or 60 flashes per minute, with the interval between the top and bottom flashes equal to twice the interval between the middle and top flashes. The top light is normally installed near the top of the supporting structure, while the lower light indicates the approximate lower portion of the wire span. The lights are beamed towards the companion structure and identify the area of the wire span.

Aerial/Aircraft Warning Marker Spheres were installed in line with the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) and National regulations. The warning spheres on the earthwire shall be international orange color, spaced 60 m(meters) apart, and the AWS shall be placed in an alternating fashion to maximize the visibility of the overhead earthwire under all weather conditions and hence minimize aircraft collisions with the transmission line. The installation of AWS will be done by using preformed armor rods compatible with the diameter of the OPGW conductor.

The power transmission overhead line obstruction light extracts energy from the magnetic field surrounding the power distribution wire. The device is easy to install on the power line due to its compact and light design and its convenient locking system. It can be directly clamped and fixed onto the high voltage line conductor using only one hand tool. The device is night-time activated by an internal photosensor.
