With LED lights, only 2 watts DC is needed to power the medium intensity type B obstruction lighting systems. Using solar energy to power lights and sensors removes the load from the grid, resulting in an ideal "green" solution.

An overhead power line is a structure used in electric power transmission and distribution to transmit electrical energy along large distances.
