High Intensity Obstruction Light (HIOL), multi-LED type (90°), compliant to ICAO Annex 14 Type B and FAA L-857.

APPLICATION
Rules concerning aircraft beaconing are established by the ICAO (Annex 14, Chapter 6). Our High Intensity Lights are all certified and homologated by the Civil Aviation (ICAO) and can be installed on every obstacle superior to 150M of height (Pylons, Civil Engineering Structures, Buildings, Cranes, and Chimneys). It is also recommended to add an intermediary level every 105 meters.

  When you are flying, the conductors and skyline become almost invisible against the terrain—especially the skyline  wires . The colored plastic balls hanging on overhead electricity wires are called aerial marker balls, and they are installed along the length of wires to act as a visual warning so low-flying aircraft don’t run into them.
